Meet our Team of Professionals

Terry Shaw, Ph.D.

Dr. Shaw is a board certified neuropsychologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of patients with acquired brain injury. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from O.S.U. in 1972 and his Master’s and Doctorate degrees from the University of Houston in 1975 and 1976, respectively. After spending another 7 years on staff at Baylor College of Medicine, he returned to Oklahoma in 1983 and has been providing services to brain injury survivors for over 25 years. He has published numerous articles on the diagnosis and treatment of brain injury survivors and lectures widely on the topic. He also has firsthand knowledge of brain injury from a father’s perspective. Dr. Shaw performs neuropsychological evaluations including treatment recommendations and Independent Medical Evaluations (IME) for a variety of stakeholders including the State of Oklahoma Worker’s Compensation Court, defendant/plaintiff attorneys, corporations, the State of Oklahoma Vocational Rehabilitation Program, Insurance Companies, group health plans, and private individuals.

Michael Friedman, Ph.D.

Dr. Friedman is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience providing assessment and treatment services for individuals with neurological impairments. His experience includes neurobehavioral and community programs for people with acquired brain injury. Dr. Friedman also specializes in the field of Disaster Mental Health. He has responded to a variety of national and international incidents and has trained crisis response teams in the United States and Europe. Dr. Friedman earned his B.A. from the University of Missouri and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Kansas.

Mary Dobbs, R.N., B.S.N., C.R.R.N.

Mary has been a nurse since 1973, specializing in rehabilitation nursing since 1987. She obtained her B.S.N from the University of Oklahoma in 1993 and has been certified in Rehabilitation Nursing since 1990. Her experience includes working with individuals with acquired brain injuries, strokes and other neurological and orthopedic conditions at all levels of care. She is the Case Manager at Comprehensive Community Rehabilitation Services. She is a member of the Oklahoma Brain Injury Association, the National Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and Case Management Society of America, and currently serves on the board of the Oklahoma Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, as well as President Elect of the Eastern Oklahoma Chapter of CMSA.

Faust Bianco, Ph.D.

Dr. Bianco is a Clinical Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist. He has a Bachelors Degree in psychology from the University of Arizona, and a Master Degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tulsa. He also completed a post doctoral Fellowship in Rehabilitation Neuropsychology at The Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, and has received national recognition for his academic achievement and research in the area of Clinical Psychology. Dr. Bianco specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system disorders, such as acquired brain injury, stroke and spinal cord injuries. He also has specialized training in behavioral medicine, stress management, pain management and trauma related disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder.

Susan Koch, M.S., CCC-SLP, CCM

Graduate of the University of Tulsa in 1989, with her Master’s in Speech Pathology, Susan has served the neurological population since that time. She holds an Oklahoma Teaching Certificate, and has provided speech therapy services in acute care, home health, inpatient rehabilitation, and long term care settings. She is also a Certified Case Manager. Susan assists with case management and is the program director. She performs speech/cognitive therapy and is the Administrator of our supported living/residential care home. Susan has served as the President of the Case Management Society of America – Oklahoma Chapter (CMSA-OK) and is now a board member. She is also on the board of the Oklahoma Residential and Assisted Living Association (ORALA); as well participating in activities with the Oklahoma Brain Injury Association.

Janet Willis Ph.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Willis is a Health Service Psychologist who earned her Ph. D. in psychology from Oklahoma State University in 1988. Prior to that time, Dr. Willis earned a Bachelors and Masters in Nursing and worked in the area of acute critical care for 13 years. After earning her Doctorate, Dr. Willis has specialized with infants, children, adolescents, some adults, and families with chronic medical illnesses, especially those related to neurology. She worked for nine years on the neurology unit at Children’s Medical Center as a psychologist and has extensive experience with brain injury, developmental disorders, Tourette’s Syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, and learning disabilities. She provides differential diagnoses, neuropsychological and psychological evaluations, and treatment of neurological disorders as they relate to school, work, family, and daily living.

Cindy Evans, CFO

Cindy earned her degree in Medical Management Support in 1976. She has 21 years of experience in the medical management field in the specialties of: radiology, cardiology, and pediatrics as well as currently serving as CFO for Comprehensive Community Rehabilitation Services, Inc.
